RP_Reich, released by Facepunch user Kane245, is a map based on a European setting during World War II.

Hello, my name is Kane .. many of you probably don’t know me, but I felt like I needed to finally release my version of rp_reich after dropping this project many times and becoming discouraged I finally did some finishing touches to this version.

I already have plans for a much larger version 2, but it is still in the works after delaying this map for almost a year I figured I wanted to atleast get it out there for people to enjoy. There may be some small bugs/issues but it will all be addressed in the next version which is probably not far off.  If some parts feel unfinished its because they are, and most likely will be fully fleshed out in the next version. It does require Episode 2 content, feel free to enjoy! : )

This particular map has several features, such as:

  • Around 20 enterable buildings.
  • World War II themed.
  • Many store fronts and livable spaces.
  • Can also suit posing and machinimas.

Your Garry’s Mod server will most likely need mods, so they will even download mods for you straight from any SVN or URL (e.g. PHX, maps, etc) just by asking via a support ticket or their livechat.

A new version of Flood Mod has just been released by Facepunch user find me, named Flood Mod 2.0. Changes include:

  • Servers running this save information on databases as opposed to files.
  • New tools, props, and weapons can be added by adding a new table of information.
  • A mod called “melon mod” where dead players can spawn as melons which weigh three times a much as players, allowing them to push ships closer or sink people to speed up the game.
  • Games will now wait until two or more players are on before starting.
  • Simple prop protections in the build menu.
  • More optimized; runs much better than the old version.
  • Easier to expand upon the original mod as in adding new features and events.

In short: less lag, more functionality, more expandable, and more user friendly.

To run a server for Flood Mod 2.0, you must have Tmysql and a database. Also, you must edit the init.lua file in the gamemode folder with your database information. Facepunch user jamzzster has released a sequel to his past work, RP_Cityway_v1.

For those of you who don’t know about Cityway it is a medium-large Rp map with a city area, a housing area, a commercial area and a holiday/beach area!
Cityway is a sequel to my previous map Rp_Townsend_V1p and is alot more better and detailed and fun!
The map is set in a nice warm environment and there is plenty to see and do while rp-ing!

RP_Cityway_v1 also has quite a few features, such as:

OCRP, a new way to roleplay, straight from Orange Cosmos and Shell Shocked Gaming.

OCRP (Orange Cosmos Roleplay) is a gamemode created by: The coders who are Noobulator, Jake_1305, the main mapper ::Frosty and finally, Captain McMarcus with his artistic skills which came in useful throughout the menus and HUD.

OCRP goes to a whole new level in terms of gameplay that it offers, the keyword for us is “Variety”, and we’re always looking forward to new ways to play this upcoming gamemode!
The main features in OCRP are:

  • More control over your town (as a mayor), aren’t you tired of sitting in your office constantly broadcasting your way through the job? Not anymore! You can control the economy of your city (being asked questions, and sometimes sacrificing your city money!), legalise / illegalise weapons (through the menu), control tax, and use your cities money to do some economy improvements AND buy items using those funds!
  • Bored of constantly smashing your bind to trade someone when making a shop? Not anymore! You can put a pricetag on your item and display it! Watch out for thieves and don’t go too far away from your items!
  • Skillpoints are used on books that you buy! These books can range from crafting, concentration, endurance to acrobatics, looting and robbery!
  • Bored of just making guns and growing drugs? Well not anymore! You can legally grow items, make props, and more!
  • Want to travel far? Buy a car! It is forever yours to keep, and it spawns at your demand at the local garage NPC!
  • Want to keep your cash safe and organised? Simply go to an ATM machine and deposit the unecessary amount of cash you don’t want to have on you!
